Seek medical advice if diarrhoea lasts more than 48 hours, or if there are signs of dehydration. Avoid use during a flare-up of ulcerative colitis or severe diarrhoea after antibiotics unless medically advised. Use in children, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with liver disease only after medical advice.
