What is it used for?
Used for short-term relief of painful muscle and joint conditions associated with muscle spasm, such as acute back or neck pain, sprains and strains. It should be used only when prescribed by a healthcare professional.

How does it work?
Aceclofenac reduces the substances that cause pain and inflammation. Thiocolchicoside helps relax painful muscle spasms.

How to take/use it
Take exactly as prescribed. It is generally taken with or after food to reduce stomach irritation. Swallow with water and do not take it for longer than advised. Avoid driving if dizziness or sleepiness occurs.

Common side effects
Indigestion, stomach pain, nausea, diarrhoea, dizziness and sleepiness. Serious stomach bleeding or allergic reactions require urgent medical attention.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about stomach ulcers or bleeding, kidney, liver or heart problems, high blood pressure, asthma triggered by painkillers, seizures, or allergy to painkillers. Avoid use during pregnancy, especially after the sixth month, and do not use while breastfeeding unless specifically advised. Thiocolchicoside may increase seizure risk. Avoid combining with other NSAID painkillers or excessive alcohol unless advised by a doctor.
