Acephyline 100 Caps (10X10) Acebrophylline 100 Mg by Elder

What is it used for?
Acebrophylline 100 mg is used to help manage breathing problems caused by asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including wheezing, chest tightness and excess mucus. It helps improve airflow but is not usually intended for immediate relief of a sudden breathing attack.

How does it work?
It helps relax and widen the airways and reduces airway inflammation. It also helps thin and loosen mucus, making it easier to clear.

How to take/use it
Take it by mouth exactly as prescribed. Swallow the tablet whole with water and do not take more than the recommended amount. Do not stop regular treatment without medical advice.

Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness and palpitations may occur.

Precautions
Inform the doctor about heart disease, high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, seizures, thyroid problems, liver disease or kidney disease. Tell the doctor about all other medicines being taken, as interactions may occur. Seek medical help for severe or worsening breathing difficulty, marked palpitations, persistent vomiting or seizures. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice.
