What is it used for?
This topical medicine is primarily used to help manage acne, unclog pores and improve uneven skin texture. It may also help reduce the appearance of mild dark spots and uneven pigmentation.

How does it work?
ATRA (tretinoin) increases skin cell turnover and helps prevent blocked pores. Glycolic acid exfoliates the skin, while niacinamide helps support the skin barrier and reduce irritation.

How to take/use it
For skin use only. Apply a thin layer to clean, completely dry skin exactly as directed by the doctor or product instructions. Avoid the eyes, lips, nostrils and broken or irritated skin. Use sunscreen during the day.

Common side effects
Dryness, redness, peeling, burning, stinging, itching and increased sensitivity to sunlight may occur, especially during the first few weeks.

Precautions
Avoid excessive sun exposure and use sunscreen regularly. Do not use on sunburned, broken or severely irritated skin. Avoid combining it with other irritating exfoliants or acne treatments unless advised by a doctor. Seek medical advice if severe irritation, swelling or blistering occurs. Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
