AGGRICEASE 5mg/100ml Injection (Tirofiben HCL)

Composition
Each 100 ml infusion contains Tirofiban Hydrochloride equivalent to 5 mg of Tirofiban.

Description
Aggriease is an antiplatelet infusion used to prevent clot formation in patients with acute coronary syndromes, including unstable angina and non-ST elevation myocardial infarction. It works by inhibiting platelet aggregation through blockade of the GP IIb/IIIa receptor, reducing the risk of ischemic complications during angioplasty or other cardiac interventions.

Adverse Effects
Common adverse effects include bleeding, hypotension, nausea, dizziness and injection-site reactions. Serious but less common reactions may include major bleeding, thrombocytopenia and allergic responses.

Precautions
Use with caution in patients with active bleeding, recent surgery, uncontrolled hypertension, history of stroke, thrombocytopenia or renal impairment. Monitor platelet counts and coagulation parameters during therapy. Inform the doctor about all anticoagulants or antiplatelet medicines being used. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless clearly required.

Storage
Store at controlled room temperature below 25°C. Protect from light and do not freeze. Keep the infusion bottle tightly closed and out of the reach of children.
