Uses

This combination is used for painful musculoskeletal conditions associated with muscle spasm, such as acute back pain, neck pain, or other muscle and joint conditions, when prescribed by a doctor.

- Etoricoxib is an NSAID that reduces pain and inflammation.
- Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant that helps reduce painful muscle spasms.

How to Use

Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Use it for the duration prescribed, generally for short-term treatment.

Do not combine etoricoxib with other NSAIDs such as diclofenac, ibuprofen, or naproxen unless your doctor specifically advises you to.

Precautions & Warnings

Tell your doctor if you have:

- High blood pressure, heart disease, previous heart attack, or stroke
- Kidney or liver disease
- Stomach ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding
- Heart failure or fluid retention
- Seizures or a history of epilepsy
- An allergy to NSAIDs

Etoricoxib can increase blood pressure, cause fluid retention, and affect kidney function. Thiocolchicoside can cause drowsiness, diarrhoea, and rarely seizures.

Thiocolchicoside should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and it should not be used in women who could become pregnant without appropriate contraception and medical advice.

Possible Side Effects

Common side effects may include indigestion, stomach discomfort, nausea, diarrhoea, dizziness, headache, and swelling of the feet or legs.

Seek urgent medical attention for chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, black or bloody stools, vomiting blood, severe allergic reactions, seizures, or markedly reduced urine output.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Do not use this combination during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless specifically directed by a specialist. Thiocolchicoside has important reproductive safety restrictions. Women of reproductive potential should discuss effective contraception with their doctor.

Storage

Store at room temperature in a dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date.

Important Safety Information

Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration prescribed. Avoid driving or operating machinery if you experience dizziness or drowsiness. Do not drink excessive alcohol while taking this medicine. Do not stop or extend treatment without consulting your doctor.
