Composition

Aceclofenac 100 mg.

Uses

Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain, swelling, and inflammation associated with conditions such as:

- Osteoarthritis
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Ankylosing spondylitis
- Musculoskeletal pain and other painful inflammatory conditions

How to Use

Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, preferably with or after food to reduce stomach irritation. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration recommended.

Avoid taking aceclofenac together with other NSAIDs such as diclofenac, ibuprofen, naproxen, or etoricoxib unless specifically advised by your doctor.

Precautions & Warnings

Tell your doctor if you have:

- Stomach ulcers or previous gastrointestinal bleeding
- Kidney or liver disease
- High blood pressure, heart disease, or heart failure
- Asthma or previous reactions to NSAIDs
- A bleeding or clotting disorder

Aceclofenac can cause stomach bleeding, affect kidney or liver function, increase blood pressure, and cause fluid retention. Long-term use may increase cardiovascular risk.

Possible Side Effects

Common side effects include indigestion, stomach pain, nausea, diarrhoea, dizziness, and headache.

Seek urgent medical attention for black or bloody stools, vomiting blood, severe abdominal pain, chest pain, breathing difficulty, facial swelling, severe skin reactions, or significantly reduced urine output.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Avoid aceclofenac during pregnancy unless specifically prescribed. NSAIDs should generally be avoided during the later stages of pregnancy. Consult your doctor before using it while breastfeeding.

Storage

Store at room temperature in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date.

Important Safety Information

Take only the prescribed dose and duration. If you miss a dose, take it when remembered unless it is nearly time for the next dose; do not double the dose. Avoid excessive alcohol because it can increase the risk of stomach irritation and bleeding.
