Description:
Aldigesic 100 Tablet contains Aceclofenac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with potent analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties.
It is indicated for the treatment of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, musculoskeletal pain, dental pain, and postoperative pain.

Aceclofenac works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, thereby blocking prostaglandin synthesis — the chemical mediators responsible for pain, inflammation, and swelling.

Warnings and Precautions:

Use with caution in patients with hepatic, renal, or gastrointestinal impairment.

Avoid in patients with active peptic ulcer, bleeding disorders, or NSAID hypersensitivity.

Concomitant use with alcohol or hepatotoxic drugs should be avoided.

Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a physician.

Long-term use may increase the risk of cardiovascular events or gastrointestinal bleeding.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Nausea, abdominal discomfort, dyspepsia.

Occasional: Dizziness, headache, mild elevation of liver enzymes.

Rare: Hypersensitivity reactions, gastrointestinal bleeding, edema, hepatotoxicity (on prolonged use).
