Composition
Aceclofenac 100 mg + Paracetamol 325 mg + Trypsin-Chymotrypsin 50,000 AU.
Uses
This combination is used for pain, inflammation, and swelling, particularly following injuries, surgery, or in painful musculoskeletal and joint conditions.
- Aceclofenac — reduces pain and inflammation.
- Paracetamol — provides additional pain and fever relief.
- Trypsin-Chymotrypsin — proteolytic enzymes used to help reduce inflammation and swelling associated with tissue injury.
How to Use
Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with or after food. Swallow the tablet whole with water. If the product is enteric-coated or gastro-resistant, do not crush or chew it.
Do not take additional paracetamol-containing medicines without checking the total daily dose. Avoid combining it with other NSAIDs such as diclofenac, ibuprofen, naproxen, or etoricoxib unless specifically advised by your doctor.
Precautions & Warnings
Tell your doctor if you have:
- Stomach ulcers or previous gastrointestinal bleeding
- Kidney or liver disease
- High blood pressure, heart disease, or heart failure
- Asthma or previous reactions to NSAIDs
- A bleeding or clotting disorder
- A history of allergy to any of the ingredients
- Regular or heavy alcohol consumption
Aceclofenac can cause stomach bleeding, kidney problems, increased blood pressure, and fluid retention. Excessive paracetamol can cause serious liver damage. Trypsin-chymotrypsin may require particular caution in people with bleeding disorders or those taking medicines that affect blood clotting.
Possible Side Effects
Common side effects may include indigestion, stomach pain, nausea, diarrhoea, dizziness, headache, and gastrointestinal discomfort.
Seek urgent medical attention for black or bloody stools, vomiting blood, severe abdominal pain, chest pain, breathing difficulty, facial swelling, severe skin reactions, yellowing of the skin or eyes, or markedly reduced urine output.
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Consult your doctor before using this medicine during pregnancy or breastfeeding. NSAIDs such as aceclofenac are generally avoided during later pregnancy unless specifically prescribed.
Storage
Store at room temperature in a dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date.
Important Safety Information
Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration prescribed. Check other medicines for paracetamol to avoid accidental overdose. Avoid excessive alcohol consumption. Inform your doctor if you take blood thinners or antiplatelet medicines. Do not stop or extend treatment without medical advice.
