Composition

Aceclofenac 100 mg \+ Paracetamol 325 mg + Thiocolchicoside 4 mg.

Uses

This combination is used for acute painful musculoskeletal conditions associated with muscle spasm, such as back pain, neck pain, sprains, and other painful inflammatory conditions.

- Aceclofenac – reduces pain and inflammation.
- Paracetamol – provides additional pain and fever relief.
- Thiocolchicoside – acts as a muscle relaxant and helps relieve painful muscle spasms.

How to Use

Take exactly as prescribed, preferably with or after food. Swallow the tablet whole with water.

Use this medicine for the shortest duration prescribed, particularly because thiocolchicoside is intended for short-term use. Do not take additional paracetamol-containing medicines or other NSAIDs such as diclofenac, ibuprofen, naproxen, or etoricoxib unless your doctor specifically advises you to.

Precautions & Warnings

Tell your doctor if you have:

- Stomach ulcers or previous gastrointestinal bleeding
- Kidney or liver disease
- High blood pressure, heart disease, or heart failure
- Asthma or previous reactions to NSAIDs
- A bleeding or clotting disorder
- Epilepsy or a history of seizures

Aceclofenac may cause stomach bleeding, kidney problems, increased blood pressure, and fluid retention. Excessive paracetamol can cause serious liver damage. Thiocolchicoside can rarely cause seizures and may cause diarrhoea or drowsiness.

Thiocolchicoside should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Women who could become pregnant should use effective contraception during treatment as advised by their doctor.

Possible Side Effects

Common side effects include indigestion, stomach pain, nausea, diarrhoea, dizziness, headache, and drowsiness.

Seek urgent medical attention for black or bloody stools, vomiting blood, severe abdominal pain, chest pain, breathing difficulty, facial swelling, severe skin reactions, seizures, yellowing of the skin or eyes, or markedly reduced urine output.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Do not use this combination during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless specifically directed by a specialist. Thiocolchicoside has important reproductive safety restrictions.

Storage

Store at room temperature in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date.

Important Safety Information

Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest prescribed duration. Avoid excessive alcohol consumption. Do not drive or operate machinery if you experience dizziness or drowsiness. Check other medicines for paracetamol to prevent accidental overdose. Inform your doctor if you take blood thinners or other medicines that increase bleeding risk.
