Composition

Paracetamol 500 mg \+ Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 5 mg \+ Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride 25 mg + Caffeine 30 mg.

Uses

This combination is used for short-term relief of common cold and flu symptoms, such as:

- Fever and headache
- Body aches and pain
- Blocked or stuffy nose
- Runny nose and sneezing

Paracetamol relieves pain and fever, phenylephrine helps reduce nasal congestion, diphenhydramine reduces allergy-type symptoms such as runny nose and sneezing, and caffeine can enhance the pain-relieving effect and reduce some drowsiness.

How to Use

Take exactly as directed by your doctor or the product label, with or without food. Swallow with water.

Do not take another medicine containing paracetamol at the same time unless you have checked the total daily dose. Avoid excessive caffeine while taking this combination.

Precautions & Warnings

Tell your doctor if you have:

- High blood pressure or heart disease
- Liver disease
- Glaucoma
- Enlarged prostate or difficulty urinating
- Hyperthyroidism
- Diabetes
- A history of seizures

Diphenhydramine can cause drowsiness and impaired alertness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you. Alcohol can significantly increase drowsiness.

Phenylephrine may increase blood pressure and heart rate. Avoid or use only under medical advice if you have uncontrolled hypertension or certain heart conditions.

Excessive paracetamol can cause serious liver damage.

Possible Side Effects

Common side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, nausea, stomach discomfort, increased heart rate, nervousness, and difficulty sleeping.
