Alkem Cold Ds Drop (Phenylephrine Hcl 5 Mg + Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2Mg)

Composition:
Each 1 ml of drops contains:

Phenylephrine Hydrochloride IP 5 mg,Chlorpheniramine Maleate IP  2 mg,Flavoured aqueous base q.s.

Description:
Alkem Cold DS Drops is a paediatric decongestant and antihistamine combination formulated to provide relief from nasal congestion, sneezing, and runny nose associated with the common cold, allergic rhinitis, and upper respiratory tract infections.

Warnings and Precautions:

Use only under medical supervision, especially in infants and young children.

Shake well before use.

Measure the dose accurately with a calibrated dropper.

Contraindicated in patients with hypertension, hyperthyroidism, severe cardiac disease, or hypersensitivity to any component.

May cause drowsiness; avoid activities requiring alertness.

Do not use concurrently with MAO inhibitors or other sympathomimetic drugs.

Use with caution in hepatic or renal impairment.

Not recommended for neonates or premature infants.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Drowsiness, dry mouth, mild sedation.

Occasional: Nausea, headache, mild gastrointestinal discomfort.

Rare: Palpitations, insomnia, allergic reactions, or restlessness.

Storage:

Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light.

Keep the bottle tightly closed after use.

Keep out of reach of children.
