Description:
Alkemnim Tablet contains Nimesulide, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory properties. It works by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX) and reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins, thereby alleviating pain, fever, and inflammation.

Warnings and Precautions:

Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible.

Not recommended in children below 12 years of age.

Contraindicated in patients with hepatic impairment, active peptic ulcer, or history of hypersensitivity to Nimesulide or other NSAIDs.

Avoid concomitant use with alcohol, hepatotoxic drugs, or other NSAIDs.

Discontinue immediately if jaundice, nausea, vomiting, or fatigue occurs (signs of liver dysfunction).

Use with caution in renal impairment or gastrointestinal disorders.

Not recommended during pregnancy or lactation unless prescribed.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Nausea, heartburn, diarrhea, abdominal pain.

Occasional: Dizziness, rash, headache.

Rare: Hepatotoxicity, gastrointestinal bleeding, allergic reactions.
