Description:

Alkemnim Tablet contains Nimesulide, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory properties.
It acts by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain, inflammation, and fever.
It is indicated for the symptomatic relief of pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, dysmenorrhea, dental pain, and fever.

Warnings and Precautions:

For oral use only under medical supervision.

Use with caution in patients with hepatic or renal impairment, gastric ulcer, or bleeding disorders.

Contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer, severe hepatic impairment, or known hypersensitivity to Nimesulide.

Not recommended for long-term use; limit duration to the shortest period necessary to control symptoms.

Avoid use with other NSAIDs or alcohol, as it may increase the risk of gastrointestinal or hepatic toxicity.

Use during pregnancy and lactation only if clearly indicated.

Monitor liver function periodically during treatment.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and gastritis.

Occasional: Dizziness, headache, skin rash, or heartburn.

Keep in amber PVC packaging to prevent light-induced degradation.
