Each 200 ml of solution contains:

Sodium Chloride IP – 2.6 g,Potassium Chloride IP – 1.5 g,Sodium Citrate IP – 2.9 g,Dextrose Anhydrous IP – 13.5 g,Flavoured aqueous base (Apple flavour) – q.s.,(Approximate osmolarity: 245 mOsm/L)

Description:
Alkem’s ORS Novo Apple Flavour is a ready-to-drink Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) formulated as per WHO-recommended standards for oral rehydration therapy. It effectively restores fluids and electrolytes lost due to diarrhea, vomiting, heat exhaustion, or fever, thereby preventing dehydration.

Warnings and Precautions:

For oral use only.

Shake well before use.

Discard unused portion within 24 hours of opening.

Use with caution in patients with renal impairment, fluid retention, or heart failure.

Not a substitute for intravenous fluids in severe dehydration or shock.

Seek medical advice if symptoms persist beyond 3 days.

Adverse Effects:
Generally well tolerated.

Occasional: Mild abdominal discomfort, nausea, or bloating.

Rare: Electrolyte imbalance (e.g., hypernatremia) with excessive intake.

Storage:

Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight.

Keep the container tightly closed.

Keep out of reach of children.
