Alkemsert Cream (Sertaconazole Nitrate Cream 2% W/W)

Composition:
Each gram of cream contains:

Sertaconazole Nitrate  2% w/w ,Cream base q.s.

Description:
Alkemsert Cream contains Sertaconazole Nitrate, a broad-spectrum topical antifungal agent belonging to the imidazole class. It is effective against a wide range of dermatophytes, yeasts, and fungi that cause skin infections.

Warnings and Precautions:

For external use only.

Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes.

Apply a thin layer on clean, dry skin over the affected and surrounding area once or twice daily, as directed by a physician.

Continue treatment for the full prescribed duration to prevent recurrence.

Discontinue if irritation, redness, or hypersensitivity occurs.

Safe use in pregnancy and lactation should be based on medical advice.

Not for use on open wounds or broken skin.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Mild burning, itching, or redness at the site of application.

Occasional: Dryness or stinging sensation.

Rare: Allergic contact dermatitis or hypersensitivity reaction.

Storage:

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Keep the tube tightly closed after use.

Keep out of reach of children.
