Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride 14.08 mg,Ammonium Chloride 138 mg,Sodium Citrate 57.03 mg, Ethanol 5% v/v, Flavoured syrup base: q.s.

Description:

Alkofdryl + Syrup is a cough formulation that provides effective symptomatic relief from productive and allergic cough.

Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride is an antihistamine that helps relieve allergic symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, and throat irritation.

Ammonium Chloride acts as an expectorant, thinning and loosening mucus for easier expulsion.

Sodium Citrate works as a mucolytic and systemic alkalizer, reducing irritation in the respiratory tract.

Ethanol acts as a preservative and solvent, aiding in formulation stability.
It is indicated for cough associated with upper respiratory tract infections, bronchitis, and allergic conditions.

Warnings and Precautions:

For oral use only under medical supervision.

May cause drowsiness or dizziness; avoid driving or operating machinery after consumption.

Use with caution in patients with asthma, hepatic or renal impairment, glaucoma, thyroid disorders, or hypertension.

Avoid alcohol or other CNS depressants while taking this medication.

Not recommended for children below 6 years unless prescribed by a physician.

Use during pregnancy and lactation only if clearly indicated by a doctor.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, mild gastrointestinal discomfort.

Occasional: Headache, blurred vision, or restlessness.
