Amoxycillin Trihydrate IP equivalent to Amoxycillin 500 mg ,Excipients – q.s.

Description:
Almox 500 Capsule contains Amoxycillin, a broad-spectrum beta-lactam antibiotic belonging to the penicillin class.
It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to the destruction of susceptible bacteria.
It is effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and is used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, urinary tract, ear, nose, throat, skin, and soft tissues.

Warnings and Precautions:

For oral use only.

Use with caution in patients with renal impairment.

Contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to penicillins or cephalosporins.

Prolonged use may lead to superinfection or Clostridium difficile–associated diarrhea.

Dose adjustment may be required in patients with severe kidney disease.

Adverse Effects:

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea

Skin rash, urticaria

Rarely: Anaphylactic reactions, hepatic dysfunction, or pseudomembranous colitis

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, protected from light and moisture.
