Amlodipine Besylate IP equivalent to Amlodipine 2.5 mg

Description:
Amlip 2.5 Tablet contains Amlodipine, a long-acting calcium channel blocker that relaxes vascular smooth muscles, causing vasodilation and improved blood flow. It is used for the management of hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina pectoris (chest pain). By lowering blood pressure, it helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems.

Warnings and Precautions:

Use with caution in patients with severe hepatic impairment or heart failure.

Avoid abrupt discontinuation.

Monitor blood pressure regularly during treatment.

May cause dizziness or fatigue—avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.

Not recommended during pregnancy or lactation unless prescribed by a physician.

Adverse Effects:
Dizziness, headache, fatigue, flushing, palpitations, peripheral edema, and nausea.
