Amlip At Tablet (Amlodipine 5Mg +Atenolol 5Mg)

Composition:
Each tablet contains:

Amlodipine Besylate IP equivalent to Amlodipine 5 mg ,Atenolol IP – 50 mg

Description:
Amlip-AT Tablet is a combination antihypertensive medication containing Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, and Atenolol, a cardioselective beta-blocker.

It is used in the treatment of hypertension, angina pectoris, and for the prevention of cardiovascular complications such as heart attack and stroke.

Warnings and Precautions:

Use with caution in patients with bradycardia, heart block, or heart failure.

Avoid abrupt withdrawal; taper the dose gradually.

May cause dizziness or fatigue—avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.

Use cautiously in patients with hepatic or renal impairment.

Avoid concurrent use with other beta-blockers or strong CYP3A4 inhibitors unless advised by a doctor.

Not recommended during pregnancy or lactation unless prescribed.

Adverse Effects:
Dizziness, fatigue, bradycardia, ankle swelling, headache, cold extremities, hypotension, and gastrointestinal upset.
