AMLIP TL TAB (Amlodipine 5 mg + Telmisartan 40 mg)

Composition
Each tablet contains Amlodipine 5 mg and Telmisartan 40 mg along with approved excipients.

Description
Amlip TL Tablet is a combination antihypertensive medicine used for the management of high blood pressure. Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, relaxes blood vessels by inhibiting calcium influx, while Telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker, prevents vasoconstriction and reduces aldosterone-mediated fluid retention. Together, they provide effective and sustained blood pressure control, reducing the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attack and stroke.

Adverse Effects
Common adverse effects may include headache, dizziness, ankle edema, flushing, fatigue and palpitations. Less commonly, patients may experience hypotension, nausea or gastrointestinal discomfort.

Precautions
Use with caution in patients with liver impairment, dehydration, renal artery stenosis or heart failure. Blood pressure and kidney function should be monitored regularly. Avoid use during pregnancy as it may cause fetal harm. Breastfeeding women should consult a physician before use. Inform the doctor about all other medicines being taken to prevent interactions.

Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the tablets in the original packaging and out of reach of children.
