Description:

Amlogen-AT is a fixed-dose combination of Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, and Atenolol, a cardioselective beta-blocker.
This combination provides complementary blood pressure control by promoting vasodilation (via Amlodipine) and reducing heart rate and cardiac output (via Atenolol).
It is indicated for the management of hypertension, angina pectoris, and other cardiovascular conditions requiring dual control of heart rate and vascular tone.

Warnings and Precautions:

For oral use only under medical supervision.

Use with caution in patients with bradycardia, heart block, heart failure, hepatic or renal impairment, or asthma.

Do not discontinue abruptly; taper dose gradually under medical advice.May cause dizziness or fatigue; avoid driving or operating machinery until response is known.

Monitor blood pressure, heart rate, and renal function periodically.

Use during pregnancy or lactation only if clearly indicated by a physician.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Dizziness, fatigue, bradycardia, ankle swelling, headache, and flushing.

Occasional: Nausea, cold extremities, or gastrointestinal discomfort.

Rare: Hypotension, heart block, allergic reactions, or depression.
