Amrocad Cream (Amorolfine 0.25 %)

Description:
Amrocad Cream contains Amorolfine, a broad-spectrum antifungal agent belonging to the morpholine class. It is used for the topical treatment of fungal infections of the skin such as tinea (ringworm), athlete’s foot, and dermatomycoses.

Amorolfine acts by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis — an essential component of the fungal cell membrane — leading to disruption of cell membrane integrity and fungal cell death.

It is effective against a wide range of dermatophytes, yeasts, and molds.

Warnings and Precautions:

For external use only.

Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes.

Discontinue use if irritation or hypersensitivity occurs.

Use with caution in pregnant or lactating women; consult a physician before use.

Do not apply on open wounds or broken skin.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Mild local irritation, redness, itching, or burning sensation.

Rare: Allergic contact dermatitis or hypersensitivity reaction.

Storage:

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, protected from light.

Keep the tube tightly closed after use.
