What is it used for?
This medicine is an antibiotic used to treat certain bacterial infections. It does not work for viral infections such as the common cold or flu.

How does it work?
Amoxicillin and cloxacillin kill susceptible bacteria by preventing them from forming a protective cell wall. The LB component may help support healthy gut bacteria during antibiotic treatment.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Swallow the capsule with water and complete the prescribed course, even if symptoms improve. Do not share or reuse leftover antibiotics.

Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach discomfort and skin rash may occur. Seek medical advice for severe or persistent diarrhoea.

Precautions
Do not take this medicine if there has been a serious allergy to penicillin or related antibiotics. Stop taking it and seek urgent medical help for swelling of the face or throat, breathing difficulty or a severe rash. Tell the doctor about kidney or liver problems, previous antibiotic-related diarrhoea, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and all other medicines being taken.
