ANIVANCE 100 mg Injection (Anidulafungin 100)

Composition
Each vial contains Anidulafungin 100 mg as a sterile lyophilized powder for intravenous infusion.

Description
Anivance 100 mg is an echinocandin antifungal injection used for the treatment of invasive candidiasis and candidemia. It acts by inhibiting the synthesis of β-(1,3)-D-glucan, a critical component of the fungal cell wall, leading to fungal cell destruction. The drug is well tolerated, exhibits predictable pharmacokinetics, and is suitable for systemic fungal infections in both stable and critically ill patients. It is administered intravenously and is preferred when broad-spectrum antifungal coverage is needed with fewer drug interactions.

Adverse Effects
Patients may experience headache, nausea, diarrhea, rash, flushing, and mild infusion-related reactions. In rare cases, liver enzyme elevations or hypersensitivity reactions may occur.

Precautions
This medicine should be used only under hospital supervision. Liver function should be monitored during treatment. Infusion must be given slowly to reduce reaction risk. Caution is advised in pregnant or breastfeeding women and in individuals with known sensitivity to echinocandins.

Storage
Store the unopened vial below 25°C, protected from light and moisture. After reconstitution and dilution, follow standard guidelines for stability and administration. Keep out of reach of children.
