Bilastine – 20 mg

Description

Antegy (Bilastine) is a long-acting, non-sedating H₁ antihistamine used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny/itchy nose, red or watery eyes) and urticaria (hives). It blocks the action of histamine, a chemical mediator of allergy, thereby reducing allergy symptoms.

Precautions

Take on an empty stomach — at least 1 hour before food or 2 hours after food/fruit juice, since food and juices reduce its absorption. 

Use with caution in renal impairment. 

Avoid in patients with known hypersensitivity to bilastine. 

May cause drowsiness in some; avoid driving if affected. 

Use during pregnancy & breastfeeding only if clearly needed. 

Avoid consuming fruit juices around dosing, as they reduce absorption.

Adverse Effects

Headache, Drowsiness or fatigue , Dizziness ,Dry mouth or abdominal discomfort (rare) 

Storage

Store below 30 °C, in a cool, dry place. 
Keep tightly closed and out of reach of children.
