What is it used for?
Bilastine 20 mg + montelukast 10 mg is used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, runny or blocked nose, and itchy or watery eyes.

How does it work?
Bilastine blocks histamine, a substance involved in allergy symptoms. Montelukast blocks leukotrienes, which can contribute to inflammation and congestion in the airways and nose.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed by the doctor. Swallow the tablet with water and follow the product instructions about food and fruit juice, as these may affect bilastine absorption. Do not take extra doses.

Common side effects
Headache, sleepiness or tiredness, dizziness, stomach pain, nausea, or diarrhoea may occur.

Precautions
Montelukast may rarely cause mood or behaviour changes, nightmares, sleep problems, anxiety, depression, or suicidal thoughts. Stop the medicine and seek medical advice promptly if these occur. This medicine is not intended for the immediate relief of an acute asthma attack. Inform the doctor about pregnancy, breastfeeding, liver or kidney problems, and all other medicines being used.
