What is it used for?
Cyproheptadine syrup is an antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy or watery eyes, and skin itching or hives.

How does it work?
It blocks the action of histamine, a chemical involved in allergic reactions. It may also cause drowsiness and increase appetite.

How to take/use it
Use only as directed by a doctor or pharmacist. Measure the syrup with the supplied measuring device, and do not use a household spoon. Shake the bottle well before use. Do not take more than recommended.

Common side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, constipation, nausea, and increased appetite or weight gain.

Precautions
