Composition:
Each tablet contains Atorvastatin 20 mg along with approved excipients.

Description:
Aristatin 20 Tablets are a lipid-lowering medication indicated for the management of hyperlipidemia and prevention of cardiovascular diseases. Atorvastatin works by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, thereby reducing hepatic cholesterol synthesis, lowering LDL cholesterol and triglycerides, and increasing HDL cholesterol. It helps in reducing the risk of atherosclerosis, heart attack, and stroke.

Precautions:
Use under medical supervision. Contraindicated in patients with active liver disease or persistent unexplained elevation of liver enzymes. Caution is advised in patients with a history of liver disorders, excessive alcohol intake, or muscle-related conditions. Regular monitoring of liver function and lipid profile is recommended. Avoid use during pregnancy and lactation. Do not exceed the prescribed dosage.

Adverse Effects:
Common side effects may include headache, abdominal discomfort, nausea, or muscle pain. Rarely, serious muscle-related effects such as myopathy or rhabdomyolysis and liver enzyme elevations may occur.
