What is it used for?
This combination is prescribed to reduce the risk of blood clots, heart attack and certain types of stroke in people with coronary artery disease or after certain heart-related events or procedures.

How does it work?
Atorvastatin lowers harmful LDL cholesterol and helps protect blood vessels. Aspirin and clopidogrel reduce platelet clumping, helping prevent blood clots.

How to take/use it
Take exactly as prescribed, at the same time each day. Do not stop this medicine or skip doses without medical advice, as this may increase the risk of a blood clot. Follow the prescribed instructions regarding food and other medicines.

Common side effects
Easy bruising or bleeding, nosebleeds, indigestion, stomach discomfort, nausea, and muscle aches may occur. Mild changes in liver tests can also occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about any history of bleeding, stomach ulcers, liver disease, kidney disease, or muscle problems. Inform the doctor and dentist before surgery or dental procedures. Seek urgent medical care for uncontrolled bleeding, black stools, vomiting blood, severe headache, or sudden weakness. Report severe muscle pain or weakness, especially with dark urine. Avoid pregnancy and breastfeeding unless specifically advised by a doctor, and check before using painkillers or other medicines that may increase bleeding.
