What is it used for?
Used for temporary relief of common cold or allergy-related symptoms such as a blocked or runny nose, sneezing and nasal congestion.

How does it work?
Chlorpheniramine reduces the effects of histamine, helping relieve sneezing and a runny nose. Phenylephrine narrows swollen blood vessels in the nose, helping reduce nasal congestion.

How to take/use it
Take by mouth exactly as directed on the package or by a healthcare professional. Do not take more than recommended or combine with other cold medicines containing similar ingredients.

Common side effects
Sleepiness, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, nausea, headache, nervousness or difficulty sleeping. Fast heartbeat or increased blood pressure may occur.

Precautions
May cause drowsiness; avoid driving and alcohol until its effects are known. Seek medical advice before use if there is high blood pressure, heart disease, thyroid disease, glaucoma, prostate enlargement or difficulty urinating. Do not use with monoamine oxidase inhibitor medicines or within 14 days of stopping them. Ask a healthcare professional before use during pregnancy, breastfeeding or in children.
