Aristonor-TZ Tab (20x10) Norfloxacin 400mg + Tinidazole 600mg by Aristo

What is it used for?
This medicine is used to treat certain bacterial and protozoal infections that may cause diarrhoea or dysentery. It should be used only when prescribed by a healthcare professional.

How does it work?
Norfloxacin stops the growth of susceptible bacteria. Tinidazole damages certain bacteria and parasites, helping clear the infection.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed, with a full glass of water, and complete the prescribed course. Do not self-medicate or stop early. Avoid taking it with milk or dairy products, and separate antacids or mineral supplements containing iron, calcium, magnesium or zinc as advised by a doctor or pharmacist. Avoid alcohol during treatment and for at least 72 hours after the last dose.

Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, indigestion, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness and a metallic taste in the mouth may occur.

Precautions
Inform the doctor about pregnancy, breastfeeding, kidney disease, seizures, nerve problems, tendon disorders or myasthenia gravis. Stop the medicine and seek medical help for tendon pain or swelling, severe or persistent diarrhoea, numbness or tingling, severe rash, breathing difficulty, or unusual confusion. Avoid driving if dizziness or blurred vision occurs. Keep hydrated unless fluid restriction has been advised.
