Ascotor Dm Tabs (10X10) Acebrophylline 200Mgsr,Montelukast 10Mg,Desloratidine 5Mg by Elder

What is it used for?
This combination is used to help control asthma-related breathing symptoms and associated allergic symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose and itchy or watery eyes. It is not a substitute for a fast-acting inhaler during a sudden asthma attack.

How does it work?
Acebrophylline helps relax the airways and reduce thick mucus. Montelukast reduces inflammation caused by leukotrienes, while desloratadine blocks histamine to relieve allergy symptoms.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed. Swallow the sustained-release tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it. Use it regularly as directed and do not use it for sudden breathing difficulty unless specifically advised by a doctor.

Common side effects
Headache, nausea, stomach upset, dry mouth, dizziness or sleepiness may occur. Some people may experience palpitations or tremors.

Precautions
Inform the doctor about liver or kidney problems, heart rhythm problems, seizures, stomach ulcers, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Seek medical advice promptly for worsening breathing, severe palpitations, or new changes in mood, sleep or behaviour. Avoid driving if dizzy or drowsy, and do not stop prescribed asthma treatment without medical advice.
