What is it used for?
This combination is used for temporary relief of cold symptoms such as dry cough, blocked nose, runny nose and sneezing.

How does it work?
Dextromethorphan suppresses the cough reflex. Phenylephrine helps reduce nasal congestion, while chlorpheniramine (CPM) reduces allergy-like symptoms such as a runny nose and sneezing.

How to take/use it
Take only as directed on the product label or by a healthcare professional. Do not take more than the recommended amount or combine it with other cough, cold or decongestant medicines containing similar ingredients. Use a measuring device for liquid formulations.

Common side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, nausea, restlessness, headache or an increased heartbeat may occur.

Precautions
Avoid alcohol and driving or operating machinery if drowsy or dizzy. Seek medical advice before use if there is high blood pressure, heart disease, glaucoma, thyroid disease, prostate or urinary problems. Do not use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), and check with a healthcare professional before use with antidepressants or other medicines.
