What is it used for?
Used for temporary relief of dry cough and cold- or allergy-related symptoms such as a runny nose and sneezing.

How does it work?
Dextromethorphan reduces the cough reflex. Chlorpheniramine blocks histamine, helping relieve allergy symptoms such as a runny nose and sneezing.

How to take/use it
Take only as directed on the product label or by a doctor. Do not take more than recommended, and use a measuring device for liquid medicines. Avoid taking it with other cough, cold or antihistamine medicines unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Common side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, nausea and constipation.

Precautions
Avoid alcohol and be careful with driving or operating machinery, as drowsiness may occur. Do not use with monoamine oxidase inhibitor medicines or within 14 days of stopping them. Seek medical advice before use in children, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if there is asthma, breathing difficulty, glaucoma, prostate or urination problems. Seek medical advice if the cough lasts, worsens or is accompanied by high fever or breathing difficulty.
