What is it used for?
Used to relieve dry, irritating cough associated with colds or allergies. It may also help reduce runny nose and sneezing.

How does it work?
Dextromethorphan reduces the cough reflex in the brain. Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that helps relieve allergy-related symptoms such as a runny nose and sneezing.

How to take/use it
Take/use only as directed on the label or by a doctor or pharmacist. Do not take more than recommended. Avoid combining it with other cough, cold or allergy medicines unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Common side effects
Sleepiness, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, nausea and constipation may occur.

Precautions
This medicine may cause drowsiness; avoid driving and alcohol until its effects are known. Do not use with monoamine oxidase inhibitor medicines or soon after stopping them. Check with a doctor or pharmacist before use with antidepressants, sedatives, or if there is glaucoma, difficulty passing urine, pregnancy or breastfeeding.
