Ascotor Ls Junior (60Ml) Levosalbutamol 0.5Mg, Ambroxol 15Mg, Guaiphenesin 50Mg by Elder

What is it used for?
Used to relieve cough with phlegm and help ease wheezing or breathing difficulty caused by narrowed airways. It may be prescribed for certain respiratory conditions involving mucus and bronchospasm.

How does it work?
Levosalbutamol relaxes the muscles around the airways to improve breathing. Ambroxol and guaiphenesin help loosen and clear mucus from the airways.

How to take/use it
Use only as directed by a doctor or according to the product label. Do not exceed the recommended amount. If it is a liquid, measure each dose with the supplied measuring device rather than a household spoon.

Common side effects
Tremor or shakiness, nervousness, headache, fast heartbeat, nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort and diarrhoea.

Precautions
Tell the doctor if there is heart disease, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes or a history of seizures. Seek medical advice if breathing difficulty worsens, the heartbeat becomes very fast or irregular, or a rash or swelling develops. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice.
