Composition:
Atracalm 2.5 contains Atracurium Besylate 10 mg per ml in an injectable solution.

Description:
Atracalm 2.5 is a non-depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent used during surgical procedures, anesthesia and mechanical ventilation to provide skeletal muscle relaxation. It works by blocking neuromuscular transmission at the motor end plate, enabling smooth intubation and controlled muscle relaxation during operative or critical care settings. Its predictable onset and intermediate duration make it suitable for both short and long procedures.

Precautions:
This injection should be administered only by trained healthcare professionals with facilities for proper ventilation and airway management. Caution is required in patients with cardiovascular instability, electrolyte imbalances, neuromuscular diseases or a history of hypersensitivity to neuromuscular blockers. The dose should be adjusted in elderly patients or those with organ impairment. Concomitant use with certain anesthetics, antibiotics or anticonvulsants may alter the drug’s effect.

Adverse Effects:
Possible reactions include hypotension, flushing, bronchospasm, skin rash, or mild histamine release. Rarely, prolonged muscle paralysis or hypersensitivity reactions may occur.

Storage:
Store in a refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C. Do not freeze. Keep the ampoule protected from light and out of reach of children.
