Composition
Each ml contains Atracurium Besylate 10 mg in a sterile solution for intravenous injection.

Description
Atracalm 5 is a non-depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent used to facilitate endotracheal intubation and provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery or mechanical ventilation. It works by competitively blocking acetylcholine at neuromuscular junctions, leading to temporary paralysis of skeletal muscles. Its predictable onset and intermediate duration make it suitable for a wide range of anesthetic procedures.

Adverse Effects
Possible adverse effects include hypotension, skin flushing, bronchospasm, mild tachycardia, and injection-site reactions. Rarely, prolonged muscle paralysis or allergic reactions may occur.

Precautions
Use only under the supervision of trained anesthesia professionals. Dose adjustments may be required in patients with electrolyte imbalance, severe acid-base disturbances, neuromuscular diseases, or cardiovascular instability. It should be administered carefully in patients with asthma or hypersensitivity to neuromuscular blockers. Avoid use during pregnancy unless clearly needed. Continuous monitoring of respiration, ventilation, and muscle function is essential.
