Beclogen CG Cream contains Beclomethasone 0.025% w/w, Clotrimazole 1.00% w/w, and Neomycin 0.50% w/w in a topical cream base.
Description
Beclogen CG Cream is a triple-combination dermatological preparation used to treat inflammatory skin conditions associated with fungal and bacterial infections. Beclomethasone reduces redness, itching, and swelling; Clotrimazole provides broad antifungal action; and Neomycin helps control secondary bacterial infections. It is commonly used for dermatitis, eczema, fungal skin infections, and mixed infections requiring anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antibacterial effects.
Precautions
Use externally only and avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or broken skin. Do not apply on large areas or under occlusive dressings unless advised by a physician. Prolonged use may lead to skin thinning or resistance. Use cautiously in children and avoid in individuals with known hypersensitivity to any component.
Adverse Effects
Possible reactions include mild burning, irritation, dryness, or redness at the application site. Prolonged use may cause skin atrophy, stretch marks, or superinfection. Rarely, allergic reactions may develop due to neomycin sensitivity.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C, away from direct heat and sunlight. Keep the tube tightly closed and out of reach of children.
