Betatech C Cream contains Betamethasone 0.10% w/w and Clioquinol IP 3.00% w/w in a topical cream base.
Description
Betatech C Cream is a combination topical preparation used for inflammatory skin conditions associated with bacterial or fungal infections. Betamethasone reduces redness, itching, and swelling through its corticosteroid action, while Clioquinol provides broad-spectrum antimicrobial and antifungal activity. It is commonly used for eczema, dermatitis, and mixed infections where both anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial support are required.
Precautions
Use externally only and avoid application near the eyes, mouth, or on broken skin. Do not use for prolonged periods without medical advice, as overuse of corticosteroids may cause skin thinning. Avoid applying over large areas or under occlusive dressings. Not recommended for individuals allergic to iodine or any component of the cream.
Adverse Effects
Possible local irritation such as burning, dryness, or redness may occur. Long-term use may lead to skin atrophy, discoloration, or secondary infections. Rarely, allergic reactions can occur due to Clioquinol or corticosteroid sensitivity.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and sunlight. Keep the tube tightly closed and out of reach of children.
