Bilintas-M (Bilastine 20Mg + Montelukast 10Mg ) By Intas

What is it used for?
Used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis (hay fever), such as sneezing, runny or blocked nose, and itchy or watery eyes.

How does it work?
Bilastine blocks histamine, a substance involved in allergy symptoms. Montelukast blocks leukotrienes, which can contribute to inflammation and nasal allergy symptoms.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed. Swallow with water. Bilastine is usually taken on an empty stomach—about 1 hour before or 2 hours after food or fruit juice—unless the prescriber gives different instructions. Do not take more than recommended.

Common side effects
Headache, drowsiness, tiredness, stomach pain, nausea, or sleep disturbances may occur.

Precautions
Montelukast may rarely cause mood or behaviour changes, disturbing dreams, depression, or suicidal thoughts. Stop the medicine and seek medical advice promptly if these occur. Avoid driving or using machinery if drowsiness occurs. If prescribed for asthma, this medicine does not replace a rescue inhaler for a sudden asthma attack. Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or in case of liver or kidney problems.
