What is it used for?
Hyoscine butylbromide injection is used for short-term relief of painful muscle spasms or cramps in the stomach and intestines. It may also be used for spasms affecting the bile ducts or urinary tract.

Precautions
Tell the healthcare professional if there is glaucoma, difficulty passing urine, an enlarged prostate, bowel blockage, severe constipation, myasthenia gravis or a fast or irregular heartbeat. Seek urgent medical help for severe or worsening abdominal pain, fainting, breathing difficulty, swelling, or painful red eyes with blurred vision.
