What is it used for?
Used on the skin to treat certain fungal infections, especially when there is significant inflammation or a suspected bacterial infection alongside it.

How does it work?
Clotrimazole damages the fungal cell membrane. Beclomethasone reduces redness, swelling and itching, while neomycin acts against susceptible bacteria.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer as directed by a doctor or pharmacist. Wash hands before and after use, unless the hands are being treated. Do not use it for longer than advised.

Common side effects
Burning, stinging, itching, irritation, redness, dryness or skin peeling at the application site. Prolonged or inappropriate use may cause skin thinning or colour changes.

Precautions
Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and inside of the nose. Do not apply to large areas, open wounds or under airtight dressings unless advised by a doctor. Avoid self-use on the face, groin or skin folds, as the steroid may cause harm with prolonged use. Stop use and seek medical advice if the infection worsens, severe irritation develops, or there is no improvement. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only after medical advice.
