Description

Canditas-V Gel is a topical antifungal vaginal gel containing Clotrimazole 2%.
It is used to treat vulvovaginal candidiasis (yeast infection) caused by Candida species.
It helps relieve symptoms such as itching, irritation, burning, redness, and abnormal discharge.

Precautions

For intravaginal use only.
Avoid use during menstruation for best effectiveness.
Do not use tampons, vaginal douches, or other intravaginal products during treatment.
Avoid sexual intercourse during treatment or use protection, as the gel may weaken latex condoms.
Consult a doctor if symptoms persist beyond the recommended duration.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women should use only under medical guidance.
Avoid use in known hypersensitivity to Clotrimazole.

Adverse Effects

Mild vaginal burning or irritation.
Itching or redness.
Abdominal cramps (rare).
