What is it used for?
Used to treat certain bacterial infections when prescribed by a doctor. It does not work against viral infections such as the common cold or flu.

How does it work?
Cefixime prevents bacteria from forming their protective cell wall. Ofloxacin interferes with bacterial enzymes needed for growth and multiplication.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed and complete the full course, even if feeling better. Do not skip doses or share this medicine. Follow the product label or doctor’s instructions regarding food and other medicines.

Common side effects
Nausea, diarrhoea, stomach pain, indigestion, headache, dizziness, or vomiting.

Precautions
Do not use if allergic to cefixime, other cephalosporins, or quinolone antibiotics. Seek medical help for severe or persistent diarrhoea, rash or breathing difficulty, numbness or tingling, unusual mood or nerve symptoms, or tendon pain or swelling. Tell the doctor about pregnancy, breastfeeding, kidney problems, heart rhythm problems, seizures, or a history of tendon disorders. Avoid unnecessary exposure to strong sunlight and discuss other medicines with a doctor or pharmacist.
