Each vial contains Ceftazidime 1000 mg with sterile Water for Injection provided separately.
Description
Zitech-1000 is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used for treating moderate to severe bacterial infections. It is effective against respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin infections, abdominal infections and certain hospital-acquired infections. It is administered intravenously or intramuscularly under medical supervision.
Precautions
Avoid use in patients with known allergy to cephalosporins or penicillins. Dose adjustment may be required in renal impairment. Use cautiously in elderly patients. Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Adverse Effects
May cause injection site pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, skin rash, headache or elevated liver enzymes. Rarely may cause allergic reactions, blood count changes or seizures in renal impairment.
Storage
Store below 25°C, protect from moisture and direct light. Keep the vial in its original packaging and keep out of reach of children.
