Composition

Each vial contains Ceftriaxone 1 g and Sulbactam 500 mg with a separate sterile Water for Injection.

Description

Xonetech S 1.5 is a combination antibiotic containing Ceftriaxone, a third-generation cephalosporin, and Sulbactam, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. It is used to treat moderate to severe bacterial infections including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, intra-abdominal infections, skin and soft tissue infections and hospital-acquired infections. It is administered intravenously or intramuscularly under medical supervision.

Precautions

Avoid use in patients with known allergies to cephalosporins or penicillins. Dose adjustment may be required in patients with kidney or liver impairment. Use cautiously in neonates and elderly patients. Consult a doctor before using during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Adverse Effects

Possible side effects include injection site pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rash, dizziness or elevated liver enzymes. Rare effects may include hypersensitivity reactions, blood abnormalities or severe allergic responses.

Store below 25°C, protect from direct light and moisture. Keep in the original packaging and out of reach of children.
