Composition

Each vial contains Ceftriaxone 2000 mg with a separate sterile Water for Injection.

Description

Xonetech 2000 is a high-strength third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used for treating severe bacterial infections. It is effective in respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, abdominal infections, meningitis and septicemia. It is given intravenously or intramuscularly under strict medical supervision.

Precautions

Avoid use in patients allergic to cephalosporins or penicillins. Use cautiously in patients with renal or hepatic impairment. Do not mix with calcium-containing solutions, especially in neonates. Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Adverse Effects

May cause injection site pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rash, headache or elevated liver enzymes. Rare reactions include hypersensitivity, hematologic changes and severe allergic responses.

Storage

Store below 25°C, protect from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep the vial in original packaging and out of reach of children.
