Composition

Each vial contains Ceftriaxone 250 mg with a separate sterile Water for Injection.

Description

Xonetech 250 is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used for mild to moderate bacterial infections. It is commonly prescribed for respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections and certain systemic infections. It is administered intramuscularly or intravenously under medical supervision.

Precautions

Avoid in patients with known allergies to cephalosporins or penicillins. Use cautiously in patients with kidney or liver impairment. Avoid mixing with calcium-containing solutions in neonates. Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Adverse Effects

May cause injection site pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, headache, or rash. Rare side effects include allergic reactions, blood count changes and elevation in liver enzymes.

Store below 25°C, protect from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep in original packaging and out of reach of children.
